Creation Reference: Bread

Visible Verse: John 6:48-51

I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. Creation Reference: Clay jar

Visible Verse: 2Corinthians 4:7-9

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Creation Reference: Drink

But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.

Creation Reference: Physical cravings or hunger

Visible Verse: Philippians 3:17-19

Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.

Creation Reference: Fragrance

Visible Verse: Philippians 4:18b-19

I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. Creation Reference: House

Visible Verse: 2Timothy 2:20-21

In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Creation Reference: Finishing a race

Visible Verse: 2Timothy 4:6-8

For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
